It is getting on to 2 month that my wife and I have been living in our new home, and every spare moment I get I try to spend getting my garage organized. But as you can imagine it is an on going fight to keep it somewhat clean when it's being used as a dumping zone. Well I thought I would start this thread in order to to keep track of my painstakingly slow progress. I can see even after I get it into working order and am able to bring my toy in it... I'm am still going to be doing changes ...

I have a 1997 chevy with a vortec 5.7 it does not have the cats on it. It runs rich. Showing on both banks. Hard to start less you give it a little gas.

alright, recenlty got a 97 mazda with a 5 speed and 1.5 liter four cylinder. its got a few problems. it overheats, but one of the electric fans doesnt work and it may need a new radiator. but i can get that, its the other problem i need a lil help with. the motor doesnt idle right , its kinda rough. it will sit and idle, but it ranges from 500 to 1500. this is without me touchin the gas. it will almost stop runnin entirely, then jump back up to 1500 before settlin down to 500, where it will idle ...

I'm glad to see that a pick up truck DIDN'T make the list. Just my opinion: but I hate it when I see guys driving around with their dog in the back of their pick up truck. What method do you use to stay current on the forum?

Every time I log onto My Truck Source in the morning an in the evening I click on New Posts to find out what the latest is in forum activity.

But once in a while there has been no forum activity. So the cool thing about this forum is the Latest Topics window,or Portal that shows the last 10 threads that has had activity.

So the 'quick release' on my spare tire carrier decided it didnt like me anymore and that it didnt want to work, thankfully, I caught it before it became an issue. I ended up unbolting it from the crossmember and just throwing the spare in the bed. Checked out the dealership and a few other places and it seems to be a pricey part. So.......................... Old blue has dual cherry bombs, dual firestick cb antennas, bearcat cb, brand new speakers and deck/cd player, dual air filters and a punisher performance chip... i want a manual transmitioned truck.. preferably diesel. old blue still continues with the idle bs and i dont feel like screwing around anymore im gonna try to sell it but i have to get enough out of it to get a different one.... any ideas how much to ask?
