It was a pleasant 50*f here today in the thumb with a gentle breeze. Got me too thinkin bout stuff i gotta do this spring. Gotta make up a sleeve hitch for the murray so i can plow the garden. Theirs some trees that need to be taken down and others that need trimmin. I charged the battery on the huskee and after messing with it a little got it to fire up. got a belt problem

alright guys, this is on the murray. When you put it in any gear and let off the clutch the belt will grab and you move a little bit and then it will throw the belt. I did a little investigating and found the pulley on the transaxle to be slightly bent. I straitened it up as best i could and it didnt seem to make any difference. Then i noticed that the bolts that hold the rearend to the frame were a little loose. I tightened those up and still no difference. The belt stays on in all gears at ...

The VT370M Cummins is a 785Ci V-8 Turbo charged diesel makes 375hp@2,800rpm & 1150tq@1,600rpm. What I want to do is interchange them, which i think should be some what easy as they are the same engine. The 370 is a turbo charged version of the 300, neither of which have anything to do with the 300hp V903 Cummins. any known issues ...

The murray started life with a 12 horse flathead B&S and a 38" mowing deck. Since then that motor has blown up and the deck has been removed. It sat for a couple years untill i got the genius idea of putting a 4 horse flathead briggs in it off a murray push mower. I ran that for a while, but it was wore out when i put it in, and even moreso when I decided to take it out. I replaced it with a OHV single cylinder 16 horse briggs that i picked up for free.
